DH's 6Oth Birthday Card

This is the card I made for my husband's birthday this year. The papers and print are from a Joanna Sheen CD and i printed the image on to printable canvas. We are both very found of all things oriental.

Christmas 2010

This year I thought I would do something a little different and made decorated candles and notepads instead of cards. The papers I used were all from craft magazines.
The notepads i made using chipbord covers and my zutter bind it al. The papers for this batch are Dovecraft from their new oriental range. My DH cut the chipboard and the inner pages and I cut the cover papers on my craft robo. Stuck the covers to the chipboard with my xyron creative station (it's about time i used it for something lol).

This is the inside of Helen's wedding card. The swirl panels on the card were designed and cut by me on the craft robo and were the inspiration for the embroidery on her dress (not done by me I hasten to add, that was the dress maker) and the cake (again not my work, but that of a VERY talented friend)
Didn't she look amazing :) :)
This is the card I made for my youngest Daughters wedding last year. The images and paper are from a Joanna Sheen CD, and I won card of the month with it!!. Helen's colours were black and ivory and the next image shows how it looked open

Alice Rose Card

I made this card for the birth of my Granddaughter Alice Rose on 8 November 2010.
It is an easel card .I cut the dress with my Craft Robo and used papers from Papermainia Blueberry Hill range with some vellum for the middle layer. The text i printed on the computer, a few peel offs, card candy and there we are. I think it worked quite well.

The Beginning

Well here I go, my first blog.

I am hoping to show some of my attempts at card making and scrapbooking.
It is a case of enthusiasm over talent but I enjoy it so much and hope that others may like it to.
I have recenly found a craft club ( Hooray) at The Crafty Bunch in Telford and i'm loving it ! It is so good to be able to sit and craft with like minded people AND I am learning soooooo much.
I will be adding some of my older cards over the next few days and I am hoping I will be able to see how I'm progressing as I add newer stuff.
